Joshua 2:11 (April 16th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

Have you ever had your heart melt?  I know that my heart melts when I see a cute baby, view a serene landscape, see my hubby, experience God's wonders and of course eat dark chocolate (lol).  If you have never experience that, you can.  How?  Accept Jesus as your savior.  Pray to Him.  Read the Bible daily.  There is nothing better than having the feeling that you are on "cloud 9" when you spent time with God.  He is so merciful and caring.  He will take care of all your troubles no matter how small or big they are.  I hope you find time to allow God to melt your heart.

Acts 21:14 (April 15th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

It is funny to see how little children begin to show their individual personalities at such a tender age.  As we get older and continue to settle in our own ways, we tend to get so comfortable in the way we do things that we don't allow anyone to change us.  However, if we need to make changes and need to let the will of the Lord be done, we have to allow Him.  Talk to Him, tell Him that you want His will to be done in you.  He will re-mold you very gently and will bring you thru.  Do not be afraid.  God will never hurt or embarrass you.  Allow His will do be done and you will be amazed at the results.

Deuteronomy 33:27 (April 15th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

Our God is eternal.  He has always existed and will always.  He knows everything.  He is all powerful. He is amazing.  He is caring.  He can answer our prayers.  He can hold you in His arms, even better His everlasting arms.  So why is it then, that we do not bring all of our worries and troubles to Him.  He is our dwelling place where we can go to anytime.  Go to Him, try it.  Talk to Him.  You have nothing to lose.  Do not give up on things.  If you have lost all hope, remember there is still hope in Christ Jesus.  Humble yourself to Him and you are going to be amazed at all the great things He has waiting for you.

Acts 20:35 (April 14th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

I don't know about you but I love to give.  I love to give gifts, my time, and my talents to others.  Christmas and birthdays are wonderful times to give gifts but we need to give gifts at all time - no particular reason - just because.  Have you ever received a gift just because?  Did it make you feel great?  Think of how others would feel if you did that to others too.  Try it, it's a great feeling.  Do you have a talent that can benefit others?  Maybe you can bake, cook, organize, clean, drive, paint, etc and someone can use your help.  The Bible says that you will be more blessed if you give then receive then why not start today.  Take the time to help others and God will bless you immensely.

Deuteronomy 32:6 (April 14th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

Families are so important, especially fathers.  Unfortunately, many families are missing that father figure because of many different reasons: divorce, death, military deployments, illnesses, etc.  However, many can identify with things that their fathers did or are doing for them.  Fathers tend to make sure that their family has everything they need.  They make sure that they teach their children how to be a "good" person.  If we are to represent our heavenly Father, who created, made, and established us; we must represent Him well because He has taught us wonderful things.  Something to ponder about:  are you a good father (mother)?

Acts 19:2 (April 13th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

Do you believe?  Do you believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior?  Do you know that He died on the cross, resurrected, and lives?  When Jesus died and rose from the dead He made a promise to us before He went to the heavens to be with His father.  He promised that He would send us the Holy Spirit to guide us and comfort us.  If you believe in Jesus and have accepted Him as your savior then when someone asks you - did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed? You should say, "YES, because the Holy Spirit is here on earth and those that believe have received Him.

Deuteronomy 31:6 (April 13th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

We should not be afraid of what comes our way because we have the Lord our God who guides us and protects us daily.  We need to learn to be strong and have the courage to trust in Him 100%.  The problem comes when we think we can do it all by ourselves and we forget to consult with Him.  We tend to go about our daily routines and we do not think of God until we need him.  Let our daily life, every second that we live, remind us that He lives and He wants and is part of everything we do and say.  Let God be in the center of your life.  Do not fear or dread, trust in Him.  He is our God who goes with us wherever we go. Remember that and lets make God part of everything we do.
