Romans 12:9-21 (April 30th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

Have you read Romans 12: 9 thru 21?  It is titled: Marks of the True Christian.  I know that after reading this chapter I decided to ponder on each of those 'marks' and examine my life.  I hope you take the time and read them and examine your life.

Judges 8:23 (April 30th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

The entire verse says: "Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: the Lord will rule over you. Few with such power at their command would have acted as Gideon did.  His speech calls them back to their first principles.  We too need to remember that God is in control.  Do not allow the things of this earth control your life.   The Lord Jesus Christ should be the ONLY ONE to rule over you.

Romans 11:36 (April 29th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

'For from Him and through Him are all things'.  Nothing is impossible for God - nothing.  Trust Him.  Are you going through some difficult times: financially, health, relationships, jobs, and other? Stop and talk to God.  Explain to Him what you feel.  Tell Him everything. He is a caring God that listens and comforts us while we wait for things to get done.  Ask the Holy Spirit to comfort you.  Ask everything in the name of Jesus Christ.  Talk to Him - Do It!  To Him be the Glory Forever. Amen.

Judges 6:23 (April 29th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

After having vanished to convince Gideon of his divinity, the Angel returns again to assure his heart.  The Angel probably appeared and spoke again just as he had done before.  Let us take this statement: 'Peace be to you. Do not fear' and meditate.  We are so worried about everything that we can not control in our daily life.  But just like the Angel told Gideon, God too tells us to have peace and do not fear.  We really need to meditate in this and take it to heart.  Believe in it and trust that God is in control.

Romans 10:1 (April 28th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

I hope that your hearts desire and prayer to God is just like Paul said in the book of Romans, for those that need to be saved.  Spread the good news.  There are so many ways to tell others about 'salvation'.  If you are afraid to talk to them, give them the information in writing, in a picture, in a song, etc.  Buy a cd of your favorite christian music and give it as  gift to a friend in need. Share my blog or other blogs that talk about God.  If you know of someone who is hooked on the internet, email them website links that talks about Gods love and salvation.  Make it your daily desire and prayer to God.  Take the time do it (share the gospel) God will bless you abundantly.

Judges 5:3 (April 28th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

Sing praises to the Lord.  Thank Him for all of His blessings - today, everyday, morning, afternoons, evenings, through troubles, through happy times.  Sing loud.  God loves a sincere melody.  Ask Him for forgiveness.  Ask Him for extra blessing.  Just Ask Him! --  Today and Everyday!

Romans 8:34 (April 27th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

Christ Jesus is the one who died AND more than that who was raised AND who is at the right hand of God who  indeed is interceding for us.  What a wonderful advocate!  Christ Jesus is your advocate! Our faith should not stop at his death, but be exercised farther on his resurrection, kingdom, second coming.
Christ Jesus is not only getting ready for us to come and join Him, He is interceding for us.  Our prayers, sufferings, and concerns are sanctified through Him and presented to the Heavenly Father.
