Acts 11:23 (April 5th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

I pray that I am faithful to the Lord until the day I die.  There are so many roads but only one towards Him.  I pray that I continue on that road no matter how difficult it may be.  All roads are difficult but what is at the end of the road is what matters, eternal life.  I must have a steadfast purpose.  I know I can do it with His guidance.  Where do you find this guidance? - In His Word.  I love to read the Bible and this new journey is helping me do that more and more everyday.  (Hope you can join me and of course tell others, spread the gospel!)

Deuteronomy 13:3 (April 5th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

I MUST love the Lord my God with ALL my heart and soul.  I must take out all those other things that preoccupy my heart and soul.  We worry so much about the anyway things that we forget, myself included, to give it all to Him and love him 100%.  We go about doing things all day long that when we  stop because we are tired, worried, in trouble or any other sudden stop that turns our world upside down, we then go running to Him.  I am glad God is so merciful! I do love Him with all my heart and soul but I must remember to do it constantly - Help me Lord to Love You constantly!

Acts 10:35 (April 4th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

"Oh Lord I do fear you!  I respect and trust you Lord!  I believe in you! I come to you everyday with fear and joy knowing that you listen, speak, and answer prayers.  All you ask of me is to do what is acceptable to you."  This I added to my prayer today.
We all tend to ask and ask and ask; - God I need this -God I want that, but am I doing what is right all the time?  I know what is right from wrong!  I just have to make sure that I do it all the time and/or ask Him to continue to teach me to notice when I am not doing what is right.  (I hope you understand what I mean. - Just do what is right - Just Do It!).

Deuteronomy 12:5 (April 4th)

Quiet Time Nugget:

Lord where is that place that you want me to be?  After I read this scripture, I decided that I want to have a different quiet place to worship Him at home.  I always did my worship, praying, and bible studying time kneeling down next to my bed or on bed late at night when I was tired.  I feel like I should to do my quiet time with the Lord in the mornings.  I am a morning person so why not use that to my advantage and give God 100% of me.   Maybe this is the place my God will choose for me?  Maybe He wants me to continue sharing His word and this is (this blog) is what He has chosen for me at this time?  I must be obedient and follow Him.

Acts 9:31 (April 3rd)

Quiet Time Nugget:

After Jesus died on the cross, resurrected and went up to the heavens, He promised to send us the Holy Spirit, which he did to comfort us.  This verse is very special because it emphasizes that all we need to do is walk trusting that He will comfort us in times of need.  We need to trust in Him.  We need to fear (respect) Him but rest too.  He is powerful but yet gentle.  I must always remember that He cares and trust in him 100%, you should too.

Deuteronomy 10:17 (April 3)

Quiet Time Nugget:

"For the Lord Your God" - wow what a statement, He is MY God.  We all respect people in authority and our elderlies and very important adults that have made a difference in our life how more so God.  He is above all those people.  If He is God of gods, then why do we continue to worship and make gods of mundane things.  I hope to always put Him first in everything I do.  I am not perfect.  I will make mistakes but I will trust in this verse and never forget that He is great, mighty, powerful, wonderful, marvelous…I can go on and on…but He is my God and I will never forget that.

Acts 8:22 (April 2)

Quiet Time Nugget:

We are all sinners and we know that because it is stated in the Bible and we all know the story about Adam and Eve, if you don't please read the book of Genesis.  Because we are all sinners, we sin everyday.  Thank God for his daily mercies and His compassion.  Repent everyday, every minute, every second you realize you have done, looked at, said something that does not please God.  I do this continuously and I will continue but I must remember to pray more.  We all love to say, "I'm sorry" but do we really mean it?  Say you are sorry, repent and really mean it.  I know God forgives us every single time we repent but let us take sometime and pray too.
